New Ownership Finally Takes Over!

The end is near. This website will soon shut down, due to overwhelming success!

IF LA FITNESS WINS, THEN WHAT?...

Then what is that many Rock Creek Sports Club members have expressed solid interest in re-forming the club as a cooperative. We want to gauge interest in this possibility.

LETTER FROM ROCK CREEK SPORTS CLUB FOUNDERS MARC TASCHER AND PAUL LONDON: IN SUPPORT OF KEEPING RCSC OPEN
Attention Rock Creek Sports Club Members.pdf

NEW UPDATES AS OF JULY 20, 2009: SPECIAL THANKS FROM PAUL LONDON AND MARC TASCHER

July 17, 2009

Dear Rock Creek Sports Club Members:

We are pleased to announce that LT Rock Creek, LLC, a company jointly owned by Paul London and Marc Tascher, acquired the Rock Creek Sports Club on July 16, 2009.

As you may know, Paul and I built this club in 2000 and operated it until the sale to Crunch in 2006. We have always love this club and community, and we are excited by the opportunity to serve you and to provide the resources that will enable Rock Creek to realize its full potential.

Paul London and I are grateful for all the support you have given to keeping Rock Creek an independent, community gym. We both would have liked to have been there during this important period, but as chance would have it, both Paul and I had long-standing personal travel plans that took us out of the country. We are both back in the US now. We intend to spend time at the Club, and hopefully, will be able to thank you all in person for your amazing support. I live in New York, but Paul lives nearby. You'll probably be seeing more of him right now. In any event, we will schedule a celebration later this summer. We look forward to thanking you all then.

As you probably know, we are committed to investing in long-overdue improvements and in new equipment at Rock Creek. We will work closely with Sharon, Steve, and their team to ensure that the improvements reflect the needs of the members.

We are both very excited about the future of Rock Creek Sports Club. Most of all, we look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

Marc Tascher and Paul London

By Mira Advani Honeycutt | September 12th, 2010 at 4:22 pm | View Comments TORONTO -- Tom Bernard and Michael Barker know how to throw a party. The co-executives of Sony Pictures Classics hosted a lovely dinner at Creme Brasserie celebrating a large slate of their films at the festival. "We have 10 films this year," said Barker as he finally sat down to dinner, while guests were already midway through theirs.

Earle, however, saw through all the discontent. And SCRAMP understood the vision. The first Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races attracted 66 cars. But they weren't just 66 old beaters with hazy pedigrees, they were all cars with documented racing histories and a few had substantial legends behind them.

in store for raiding in Cataclysm

As pointed out by the Blizzard post above, Cataclysm will spell the end of 10 and 25 man raids as we know them, combining the two into a single lockout and scaling them to be similar in difficulty. Cataclysm will also bring smaller raid dungeons reminiscent of Tempest Keep in place of the huge dungeons of the past.

Active Auctions are the auctions

Active Auctions are the auctions

From the Summary tab you can proceed to the Auction House Browser. This tool, UI aside, is practically identical to the in-game auction house. You can search for items based on all the usual criteria from the names of items to the quality or type just like in game. The engine for the tool is remarkably quick, yielding results almost as quickly as the real thing. From this screen you can purchase items quickly and painlessly.

my wife mumbled a response

My first real experience with this attitude occurred as my wife and I were making our way through our local mall. It was a chilly day and because of this my wife had donned her ‘For the Horde’ hoodie. This wasn’t the first time she had worn in, however this would be the first time anyone ever made a comment on it. As we checked out at one particular store the cashier happened to glance down and read the words on her partially zipped hoodie.
